The next Houston-Leipzig meeting will be Wednesday, November 28 at the MFAH.
Dr. Helga Aurisch will take us on one of her inimitable tours of Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits from Holbein to Warhol https://www.mfah.org/exhibitions/tudors-to-windsors-british-royal-portraits-holbein-warhol. If you’ve never heard an introduction by Dr. Aurisch to an exhibit, you will be absolutely amazed; if you have joined us before, you will eagerly await this event.
We will meet between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. in the lobby of the Audrey Jones Beck Building. The museum closes at 5:30 p.m. Please do not be late, as there will be no one to let you in later. The tour will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will last about one hour. We will meet afterwards in the spacious lounge and bar of the Hotel ZaZa for a nightcap.
