    A White House statement released on February 7, 2018 highlighted Second Lady Karen Pence’s meeting and cultural presentation to the Youth Ambassador Exchange, a program through the Houston-Chiba Sister City relationship.

    Mrs. Pence was quoted as saying “The Houston, Texas-Chiba Sister City relationship is a 45-year relationship, bringing together cities and people to experience each other’s culture”.
