Sister Cities of Houston Calendar

This year’s 2018 annual Sister Cities International Conference will be held in Aurora, Colorado from August 2nd to August 4th.

The MFAH of Houston will host a private VIP Private Tour where they will see 3rd-9th century Buddhist bronzes-and explore the cross- cultural interactions that turned Buddhist ideals into artistic masterpieces!

HTS members can also also catch Peacock in the Desert – an amazing exhibit of centuries of royal treasures in an epic presentation never before seen beyond palace walls—that illustrate the history and artistic legacy of the Rathore dynasty of India!

The wait is over! Sister Cities of Houston is pleased to announce our annual “Youth Talent Showcase” will return on Thursday, August 9, 2018, from 5-7PM. Come join us at this special reception to celebrate “The Art of Diplomacy” through the eyes and minds of our Houston students, and recognize their incredible works of art and poetry.

A fall concert planning meeting is set for August 14th from 4:30 to 5:30 pm at Sunbelt Medical Corporation, 2040 Johanna Drive, Houston TX 77055.
