Join the HBSCA, Azerbaijan Center, the University of Houston Office of the Provost, and the International Stuents Organization for the lecture series titled “Remember Khojaly”

Special guests and co-authors Leyla Begim (Czech Republic) and Efim Abramov (Israel), and speakers from the Azerbaijan Embassy present Black Snowdrops.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, a tense situation arose in many regions and republics of the former USSR. “Black Snowdrops” is the story dedicate to all who were impacted by the fight.

Additional guests and speakers include Lev Spivak from Israel and Gulnara Hall from Texas.

East West Bank/Conference Room – On the last Tuesday of each month, the Board of Directors of Sister Cities of Houston meet to discuss ongoing business and initiatives. The Board is composed of five elected members of the Executive Committee, four at large board members and one ex officio representative from each Sister City organization.
